Saraswati is the Goddess of music and the arts. She is the personification of all knowledge. This mantra has a powerful effect, enhancing creativity while it soothes the soul. Goddess Saraswati is said to possess the powers of speech, wisdom and learning. We pray her for guidance and knowledge.

Opening Verse (FORGIVENESS)
Awahanam na janami
Na janami tavarchanam
Poojaschaiva na janami
Tata ksamsva Maheshvara

Invocation (Prayer to the teacher)
Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu,
Gurur Devo Mahesh Varah.
Guru Shakshat Para Brahma,
Tasmai Shri Guruve Namah.
